Even if Claude Nougaro never had the occasion to play at the Marciac Jazz Fest, it seemed logical for us to pay respect to the work of this artist from the region. Each and every year, the jazzmen in Marciac cover a few of his songs, including “Cécile”, a song he wrote for his new-born girl in 1962.
Grey is the main colour of this room. As grey as D’Artagnan’s sword, the legendary musketeer born in Lupiac, whose story and achievements in Gascony are narrated by Alexandre Dumas. Or as grey as the shades left by trout in the Pyrenees’ rivers.
The Cécile room is ideally located in between the restaurant and the swimming pool, with a direct access to the outside. An unusual room built on two floors, charming with old style, and convincing with modernity thanks to a part of the floor of the mezzanine being made in glass. This styling feature brings clarity, space, and a direct view on the living room.
